Adina Rom is a PhD student at the NADEL. She is working on a randomized control trial to learn about adoption, usage, socio-economic and environmental impact of off-grid solar lights in rural Kenya. Her research interests are in behavioral and experimental micro-economics as well as public health. She just finished a Masters in Public Administration/International Development (MPA/ID) at the Harvard Kennedy School and previously she worked i.a. for the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) at UC Berkeley and for Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) in Kenya.
